AHDA Conference
AHDA organises a scientific
conference every two years.
The conference serves as a
venue for the latest research
findings on applied and basic
aspects of human development.
The conference includes invited
and investigator-initiated
symposia, lectures, and poster
presentations.
The 2009 AHDA conference will be held at Flinders University, South Australia. The welcome reception will be on the evening of Sunday July 5th and the conference program will run from Monday July 6 to Wednesday July 8.
The call for abstracts will go out in January, 2009. We anticipate a deadline of 15 February, 2009 and decisions to be emailed by 30 March, 2009. The abstract submission form will be available on this website from January onwards.
An ISSBD Asia-Pacific Workshop will be held before the conference, on Saturday July 4 and Sunday July 5. The theme for the workshop is "Human development in the context of movement within and across national boundaries". Travel scholarships to support the attendance of approximately 23 scholars from the Asia-Pacific region beyond Australia and New Zealand will be made available. A similar number of researchers from Australia and New Zealand will be permitted to participate in the workshop at no registration cost.
